Travel Information
Thessaloniki is the closest major airport, approximately 3.5 hours away by car. Alternatively, you can fly into Athens, which is about 4.5 hours away by car. There is also an airport in Volos, only 1 hour away, though it has limited flights. There is a flight to Volos every Saturday from Düsseldorf.
Renting a car at any of these airports is a convenient option, but you can also reach Milina by bus from both Thessaloniki and Athens. If you choose to travel by bus, you first have to go from the airport to a bus station:
- From Thessaloniki: Go to the KTEL Makedonia Bus Station.
- From Athens: Go to the KTEL Liosion Bus Station.
From these stations, you can catch a bus to Volos. You can book tickets online at KTEL Volou. Once you arrive at the bus station in Volos, buses to Milina depart from the same station.
